"The Question Not Asked"

The media driven world communicates with sound bytes that have politically correct, logically sounding arguments that hide real issues.  The interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC focused on the Jewish complaints as to the possible rise of hate crimes due to the way the Jewish leaders were presented in the film.

However, the underlying complaint - the real issue - is that the movie depicts the Jews missing a chance to accept the God-sent Messiah. By focusing on the complaint of the way the Jewish leaders were presented, Diane Sawyer missed an opportunity to ask -- "If the facts of the film are true, the Jews and Romans missed the boat, didn't they Mel?"

That question never came up.
